Yesterday while I was keeping watch on the platform of one of the Sentosa Express stations, a whole bunch of kids from ##### High (I'm not gonna say which school) came to the platform.

They were not only a rowdy bunch, they were a daredevil bunch as well. I kept telling them not to lean over the safety barriers lest they smash their heads against the incoming trains, but they kept doing so just to spite me.

And one of them nearly pressed the Emergency Stop Button.... I had to grab the bugger's arm to stop him from doing so.

Me: Have you taken the MRT?

Kid: Yes.

Me: Have you seen a button like this before?

Kid: Yes.

Me: Do you know what happens if you press it?

Kid: No.

Me: Do you know that if you press it, the whole system will be frozen, causing THOUSANDS of visitors to be stranded on Sentosa Island?!?!

Kid: Uhh.....

Me: Do you know that if you press this on the MRT platforms, YOU WILL BE FINED $5000?!?!?!

Kid: Uhhh.....

Dumbass brats. They're an insult to their school. Mad

Nah.... on the Sentosa Express we don't fine people who press the button. I was just illustrating the stupidity of his actions by telling him that you will be fined $5000 if you do press the same button on the MRT.

However, if he did press the button I would have to take down his particulars and give it to my superiors. They would then lodge a formal complaint with his school.

I won't say which school they're from...

... but suffice to say that they all wear the uniform of a supposed 'elite' school.

And it's not just the pressing of the button which I'm pissed off about... they repeatedly stuck their heads over the safety barriers in spite of my reminding them not to do so. Seems that they just want to spite me.... they would constantly stick their heads out, look at me, and laugh.

Apparently they're not intelligent enough to realise that they can get their heads smashed by the rush of the incoming trains. Rolling Eyes
